The business concept at Silmäasema is to provide the customer with all the services related to vision and eye care. You can find an ophthalmologist and an optician at every Silmäasema store. There is also an optician at every Silmäasema store, who has been qualified with work ergonomics and its requirements to vision.
In addition to the basic examinations done by the optician and the ophthalmologist, the wide range of products and services at Silmäasema includes also optician's certifications for driver's license, and other statements and referrals to further examinations by ophthalmologists. Many of the practicing ophthalmologists at Silmäasema also operate as surgeons in local hospitals or private clinics. This allows customer to be treated by the same doctor even when demanding procedures are needed.
Silmäasema is a nationwide partner of the S Group, and its customer-owners collect S-bonus points from all the services and products bought from Silmäasema.
